New York Yankees Michael Kay Wants Us To Blog About Rob Astorino

Yanks’ Kay: ‘Blog this – I Love Rob Astorino’

Michael Kay is sticking up for a former producer of his.  I like the idea of Kay telling us to blog things.  He should do a shoutout every day.  Mike – you say it, I’ll blog it.  You want us to vote for Astorino, hey why the hell not, I’m sure he’s a nice guy.

I don’t have a lead off article for Friday yet, Michael – any ideas?  Maybe I’ll just google Michael Kay and see what comes up.  Come back in the morning!

  1. Ok, I know this isn’t relevant, but its really driving me nuts watching the Mets in “Softball Black” next to the classic, timeless uniforms of the Giants. Its embarrassing. Are we supposed to be carrying on their tradition of National League baseball in New York, or the tradition of the Marlins third jerseys?

  2. Hey Mets Poice, why not get a more organized effort out there to ditch the black. Why not start a website and petition dedicated to boycotting the black, where fans sign and promise not to buy any black Mets merchandise. (I don’t care if fans wear it, I care if the team wears it)

Let’s start acting like we’re a storied franchise, with timeless classic uniforms like the Giants, Dodgers, and Yankees.

And let’s stop acting like we’re an expansion team desperate to sell jerseys in anyway we can (I’m looking at you, Florida and Arizona)

The Mets are no longer New York’s second rate team, let’s stop acting like it.
