By the way, the Mets have now worn pinstripes and blue hats two days in a row.
I gave up on my attempt to sell tonight’s tickets (I can’t go, I play in a league and have a game) for $6 so I am carrying them around all day hoping someone will use them. $19 face. Ouch.

How about pinstripes?
I think the 2 days in a row this week have boosted the number of "pinstripe" games for 2009 to a staggering 7.
I wouldn't doubt that the Mets have worn some type of "rero" "throwback" "recognition" uniform in more than 7 games this season.
If the Mets fail to wear pinstripes during the '69 celebration game Mets fans (and former players) should storm the gates of Citi Field demand the Wilpons heads on pikes, and raid the Mets Store and gather for burning any items that refer to either the Dodgers or Giants.
Just needed to get that off my chest.
