This would look nice in a frame somewhere on the club level, don’t you think?

instead can you get him the broker’s listing for the McCourt’s broker. Maybe he can finally buy the Dodgers for Jeff and get someone who is interested in the METS to run the team
Paste on on a bag then he can put it over his wife’s head when he sleeps with her
Isn’t there a big photo of Ebbets Field already up?
I’m still waiting for one of the Polo Grounds (you remember, that place where the Mets actually used to play).
FRank you are SO right. I tend to think of the Polo Grounds in terms of the NYG’s but hell yeah the Mets called it home!
Shannon…
I know what your’e saying, but to use oldtimers who went to many Met games at the Polo Grounds, the Polo Grounds are more Mets than Giants. It’s where I carried my first banner and if the Mets actually won the game….it was a BIG deal.
Would love to hear some Polo Grounds memories (even a guest post?) – even pictures of the Mets there are rare…and I’ve been so backed up on real life that I have Mets Yearbook 1963 sitting on the DVR since December.
I actually have some photos of the old Polo Grounds. In the early 60′s, the Mets had camera day. The fans would be allowed down to field level and the players would walk around the field stopping for photos. It was where you could see the players up close and actually talk to them (no autographs obviously….Try that today).
I found the photos from 1964 camera day but still looking for the 63. They probably went to memorabilia heaven along with my 62 yearbook (thanks mom).
sounds super cool, if you could scan them or share them I’m sure we’d all like to see them!
