Mets apologize to Jerry Seinfeld. Really? Really.

I have been trying to ignore Annoying Celebrity Who Did Dumb Thing At A Mets Game but now the Mets have gone and made me pay attention to it.

“We deeply regret that Jerry Seinfeld has been associated with this matter and have apologized to him,” the Mets said in an exclusive statement toRadarOnline.com.

“The use of Jerry Seinfeld’s suite was unauthorized and unknown to him at the time,” a team spokesperson said.

“We made a quick decision to place Lady Gaga and her group in a private suite because of issues related to her visit.”

You can read more and see a nice picture of Jerry possibly joining The Blue Cap Army in this article and New York magazine can catch you  up on the whole thing.

Kids, if you ever start a blog, the Mets are a wonderful subject.  You never know what you’ll wake up to.  I’m off for the weekly Unsponsored Dunkin’ Donuts run (guys, throw me a few bucks) so that their yummy coffee can wake up my blogger brain.  As a mercenary, I will happily mention your coffee on Saturday and never mention Dunkin’ again if you give me cash.  Well, and donuts.   And no I don’t want to buy a Yankee cap today, thank you that will be all.
