  1. I was at the game on Friday night in Baltimore, got there early during BP. Shouted Happy Birthday to Jose Reyes and got a big smile on his face and pointed at me to kind of say thank you. Made my freaking night.

After the game the team seemed to acknowledge the crowd with Barajas conversing with fans in the stands for a minute or 2.

One fans perspective sent in to a moron like douchenick and the Mets get a bad rap

  2. Muchnick is a clown. I don’t even bother reading anything he puts on paper because he never has a good thing to say about anyone. He’s just some jerkoff who’s probably never played sports in his like and now can rip people apart with a pen.

  3. @BPalm – I was at the Friday game and sitting behind the Mets dugout and can totally vouch for what Mushnick (whom I loathe and despise) reported. There was probably a hundred Mets fans decked in Orange and Blue cheering for the players and they walked off the field without even acknowledging us fans – they almost looked like they were walking off the field dejected with their heads hung; while we were all happy with the win, it was a little annoying.

That being said, I did have a few quick words with Dave Racaniello near the bullpen on Saturday night and he was kind enough to remember where I was and toss me the ball after he warmed up K-Rod; so I cannot complain entirely about the Mets’ organization recognizing their fans who made the trip
