Amazingly boring tales of blogging about the Mets in my basement

I’m feeling good.  Just spent about 90 minutes on the site and actually came up with a lot of cool posts.  October has been rough, since Mets news has dried up (I can’t obsess over GM rumors, sorry)…but I actually really liked everything I wrote this evening and have enough posts loaded through November 10th which is awesome!

I usually work ahead (got this whole day job thing, and sometimes I spend time with my family or even go outside) and then drop in news-news as I get a chance (or ask Media Goon to do it).  For much of October I have been swinging from post to post so it feels really good to have posts ready for the day I am busy/feel sick/wanna watch TV that i can move around.

My orange Giants jersey came and it looks awesome.  Might wear it Friday (use Halloween as the excuse).

I also bought a great great chop-busting Yankees 2010 Wild Card cap.  Man I can’t wait to show that to Mr. Sunshine.  He will call me a jerk and attack the Mets but as I wrote the other day…I know the Mets suck, you can’t hurt me.

Beloved Daughter has started reading the site.  Hmmm.  I may have to watch the cracks about Mrs. Mets Police and buy her some toys so she doesn’t tell Mommy how many jerseys I bought in 2010…lets see  Giants, Wright orange, green Murph, my cool 1908 Cubs, 1983 Seaver, blue ‘real last name’…..yeah my last name isn’t Shark.  Nobody’s is.  I switch it up so that I have plausible denial with Real Boss.

What?  A blog?   That’s not me!  I’m focused on work all day long, not blogging!  (I don’t have time to explain to people that I can post from my phone while walking to lunch or that I can pre-write 14 days worth on a Tuesday night or that iPad’s are amazing tools.)

Anyway, that’s at least 7 jerseys and I probably forgot about a few others.  Hey Daughter, sshhhhhhh, Mommy doesn’t need to know what’s going on.

We are two hours away from an important anniversary.  Lets Go Mets!

Good stuff coming….next post is at 12:01.  You get one guess who it is.  It’s a picture.
