…I thought Community was pretty funny last night. I fell asleep during football/The Office. The Office is having a horrible season, and I’m hoping they bring in Wally Backman to replace Carrell (cough, Randy, cough).
Is everyone looking forward to Thanksgiving? I sure am. I’m working on the annual Mets Turkeys post(s). Suggestions welcome.
Oh yeah, back to Bob Melvin….I’m looking forward to watching the DVD’s from Springsteen’s new box set tonight. Did you see Bruce with Jimmy Fallon doing Neil Young singing Whip My Hair? It was very funny.
Junior told me the Yankees are getting Cliff Lee. I asked him who Cliff Lee is. He didn’t know. Good to see the kids are talking Yankees in the schoolyard. Not much Bob Melvin talk apparently.
Im not nuts about the idea of best-of-3 wild card round in 2012. I like the Costas solution of a one gamer between the two Wild Cards. Looks like MLB will need to schedule some doubleheaders to accommodate that one.
I like the rumors that the NYYs are messing with Jeter. Sandy should offer one year $5 million to play second. Now that would make things fun around here.
