  1. I don’t blame him one bit! The Mets are asking alot out of their fans this year. They want the fans to spend their money and go to games, while the team is not going to spend their money and put a quality product on the field!

Fans should save their money this year just like the Mets are going to do!

  2. This is one smart man. I agree with him 100%. The problem is, even with the 2011 ticket discount, the Mets are “WAY” out of line for what the charge compared to the product they put on the field. Take a look at the 2011 Phillies Ticket Prices…..
    http://philadelphia.phillies.mlb.com/phi/ticketing/seating_pricing.jsp
Both stadiums hold about the same….41,800 for $iti Field compared to 43,637 for Citizens Bank Park. Phillies will provide a far better on-field product, But when it comes to seat prices….Want to sit behind the Mets dugout, depending on row and type of game (Marquee, Premium, Classic, or Value) it will cost you $72 – $325 a seat. Behind the Phillies dugout, $65…Any Day, Any Row.
    Mets Left or Right Field Reserve…$32 – $98….Phillies $36.
With pricing like this more and more fans are NOT going to be paying for “STEAK” when all ownership is serving is “Ground Beef”…
