I hate to do this but I’m getting nervous about our Metsies. Assuming a split in the doubleheader the Mets would be 5-8…bad but not awful. A sweep, 4-9 and a big home losing streak into a road trip with shaky pitching….all that scares me.

I’m just about to cross the Ollie Perez threshold with the entire roster: If they’re gonna suck, suck so thoroughly that changes will be embraced instead of poo-pooed on the grounds that “we’ll never replace so-and-so if you trade him.”
