Statistics prove for Mets it’s Bay not uniforms

There’s no need for a baseball team to stress over what they wear..

BAY WATCH: Jason Bay went 0-4 yesterday vs. the Dodgers…Despite yesterday’s loss, the Mets are 10-4 when Bay plays this season and 5-15 when he does not…He missed all four games when Colorado came to Citi Field (April 11-14)…Bay began the year on the Disabled List with a strained left rib cage…He was activatedon April 21…He missed the first two games of the Giants series while on the Paternity Leave List…The Mets are hitting .265 (125-471) and have scored 65 runs (4.6 runs per game) in the 14 games Bay has played…The Mets hit .239 (163-683) and scored 78 runs (3.9 runs per game) in the 20 games he has not played.
