Mets considering anti-bullying video

The Daily News reports that the Mets are interested in doing an anti-bullying campaign with someone, but not necessarily the group It Gets Better (the Giants did a video with them.)

Asked about doing a video specifically about gay youth:

“Yeah, I would certainly do that,” said Jason Bay. “I would be glad to.”

R.A. Dickey agreed, saying, “Sure I would. That is an important cause.

  1. As I asked a few people on twitter. I wonder if Thole would participate in a piece concerning bullying over social media.

  2. I hope they do it. Would be a step in the right direction, especially considering the amount of homophobic garbage you hear uttered in the stands.

    1. Yeah I agree – the culture is changing and some people stick to spewing hateful garbage way too much. Almost makes me glad Bay’s a Met … almost.
