Why I usually sell my Subway Series tickets

Now I remember why I usually sell my Subway Series tickets…nope it’s not just to off-set the cost….I forgot how annoying the crowds are.

This was my first Subway game at Citi Field.  I stopped attending them back in the Shea days.

I don’t know what it is – but it brings out the worst in both sets of fans.

So much yelling (negative) about nothing.  Please, shut p and drink your beer.

I lasted two innings upstairs before I resorted to what I will just call an alternative situation.   Alternative Situation was better..at least in that area the loudness was just unnecessarily screaming LETS GO METTTTTTTTSSS (not the normal cadence, the drunk kind) when on defense.

I’m glad I took my son.  We had a great day.  He now understands why I will sell the 2012’s.

  1. Totally agree…I was at the first ever game at FYS and I was scared to wear any Met stuff. One game at Shea, a Met (I think it was Jay Payton) was beaned in the helmet and Yankee fans cheered. When I finally made it to a World Series game (game 5 at Shea). Yankee fans acted like they owned the placee.
