I woke up early today to grab the 35% off savings at Citi Field’s Mets Team Store. I got there about 7:45 am, pulled into the parking lot and realized that I left my wallet back at home. Man, I guess the food coma was still affecting me from yesterday. I leave the parking lot run back home and return to Citi Field at 8:10. The parking lot had a about 10 cars in it at that time.
Walking into the store the 50th anniversary display was set up as soon as you walked in. t-shirts, windbreakers, and the hats were there. Behind it was that was the NEW Authentic Jerseys. Through out the store were 50th anniversary patches, shot glasses, pillows ,throw blankets, and I also found a blue Batting Practice style jersey. I have no idea if it is or isn’t the “ONE” that the Mets were talking about adding to the jersey rotation next season. SEE ABOVE STICKY POST FOR MORE ON THIS JERSEY.

Not a bad haul. I didn’t expect to spend so much but oh well. Two of the jerseys aren’t for me, so at least I know I am getting back some money.
