MLB Media dress code

As Deadspin points out, this seems to be a shot at bloggers.

There’s no one who expects reporters to wear a suit and tie […] But with the advent of different media, there are now individuals who are not part of a bigger organization that may have a dress code.

via MLB Issues Media Dress Code, Ending Long Tradition Of Interviews Conducted By A Shirtless Buster Olney.

Here is the unofficial official Bloggers Code.

1.  If you will be on the field or interacting with players, dress properly.

2.  If you’re in the hypothetical bloggers box and will not be on field or interacting with players then you should wear a jersey.

3.  Rooting is mandatory in the bloggers box.

4.  Bloggers representing the other team are to be treated with respect.
