I found out the deal with Mets fireworks night

I spoke with someone in the Mets organization. Fireworks Night will be the same type presentation as the recent Pyrotechnic Nights.  They decided to call it Fireworks Night because people were getting confused by the other title.

I guess the Fireworks Police can nitpick the distinction but whatever – see a baseball game and then stuff will light up in the sky above the stadium.

Tickets are on sale today starting at 10am.  Don’t forget to sell out Banner Day.

Yeah, that seems about right.  The Mets tried to be clear and differentiate, and people just didn’t get it.

I love fireworks, so I went to pyrotechnics night last year and was very disappointed. It’s definitely very different than a fireworks show.
