Mets add student rush tickets for $10

Show your valid high school or college ID and get a $10 Mets ticket!

  • Make Citi Field your classroom this baseball season! Join fellow students in the Promenade Level for select games.
  • Purchase online by clicking the Ticket Icon icon below (below being on the Mets’ website not here) or visit the Citi Field Advanced Ticket Window starting at 9:00 a.m. on the day of the game (subject to availability).
  • Each order is subject to a $2 order fee; ticket price includes all other applicable per ticket fees.
  • You must show your valid high school or college ID to receive this offer. Tickets will be available for ballpark pickup on the day of the game only.

Now what’s interesting is that while the last tickets had a $6 fee these only have a $2 fee.  There must be some distinction I don’t understand but at first glance I can’t think of a reason it would cost more to charge a family per ticket than it would to charge some college kids.

  1. I think even the Mets must realize the absurdity of slapping a $6 fee on a $10 ticket.

Last year, when they offered $5 Promenade Reserved tickets for an August series against the Marlins, the Mets lowered the per order ticket fee to $1.
