Another quiet day while we wait for Sandy to do something.  (I’m into Sandy puns).  But this was a nice article that tangetially mentioned Gil Hodges (second best manager in Mets history apparently) and Lee Mazzilli.

“My neighborhood was a huge sports neighborhood,” says Causi. “John Franco went to our high school. Everyone talked about Lee Mazzilli, Bobby Aspromonte.”
