  1. I have to admit, they’re not as hideous as I remember them, but that’s only a function of them not being so foreign. There’s a big difference between seeing them as throwbacks vs. that initial “What in the…?” we all experienced 20 years ago.

    On a related note, the ever-increasing frequency with which I use the phrase “20 years ago” is requiring some getting used to of its own.

  2. This would have made Blackwell’s worst sports fashion list if it existed. Makes the black uni look elegant.

  3. Don’t like the swoosh AT ALL. It’s not part of our uniform and looks tacky. It’s gotta go. Who decides these things anyway?!?!?

    1. You do know this was for a throwback game for the Rockies and the Rockies paid for the jerseys for that night?

  4. Clearly the swoosh is bad luck – and responsible for the poor play. Get rid of it and never bring it back!

  5. One of the dumbest uniform moves of all time. That, and the all-white Mets home. At least they didn’t bring back the “ice cream” caps.
