Help me identify every Mets jersey ever so I can rank them

I want to steal  from be inspired by @UniWatch and rank every Mets jersey.  To do so I have to make a list of all the designs. I know I am gonna forget something random.  Help me out.

Here are some of the designs…I can already tell you in the mosaic I don’t have 62s, all the 70s, 80s blues,  Civil Rights, NY Cubans, etc.  Let’s keep it to “actually worn in a baseball game” even though I included a prototype in this mosaic.  I have images of everything (I think) I just need the list.

The goal is to rank them.  What do you think will be my favorite?  What do you think will come in last?   Will it be swoosh?  Black?  You’re wrong.  There was one jersey I hate more than them all because it was stupid.

  1. I own or have owned one of every style knit jersey the Mets have worn on field from 1972 to 2007, and every “special” jersey since 2007.

I can tell you right away that the mosaic contains some “non” jerseys or jerseys that aren’t accurate…

    1. The 1994 road (Mets swoosh) has the wrong patch; should have the 25th Anniversary of the Miracle Mets on 1 sleeve and the 125th Anniversary of baseball on the other.
    2. The 1987 road (New York in script) contains an incorrect white sleeve stripe; the real one has no white stripe. This is an issue introduced by Majestic in their Cooperstown Collection series.
    3. The 2008 home David Wright is wrong material. Retail versions of this jersey were sold as double-knit; however, the real ones worn on field were all cool base.
    4. Mets V-Neck #33 jersey is nothing that was ever worn on field by the NY Mets; likely a minor league style.
    5. Powder blue jersey with interlocking NY is a prototype.
    6. 1987 Keith Hernandez blue BP from Mitchell and Ness is incorrect; the real jersey never contained side stripes…only sleeve stripes.
    7. Blue “Mets” jersey in lower left corner is a retail jersey.

Would you like a complete list of ever style the Mets wore on field??? I can help you.

    Nick
