Good article about “the Scioscia game” – if you are too young to remember it, you should read it.  The dynasty died that day.

  1. To this day, I can show you the exact spot in my parents’ house in which I was standing when that home run was hit.

    Horrible result, but that’s still probably the most fascinating baseball series I’ve seen since I started paying attention to MLB…so many twists and turns and subplots from inning to inning and game to game.
