But, given that Sterling has a reported stake in the project, and given that it could impact the overall Citi Field game-day experience, it seems relevant – even though none of this will matter over the next few years. Boy, reading the comments on a blog post over there always reminds me how mature everyone is over here. It seems like half the comments on this one are “a great view into an EMPTY STADIUM! HA-HA!!” while the other half tear apart the blogger for spelling and grammatical mistakes like a bunch of children. Any comment of merit gets lost in all the stupid, stupid noise.
If you’re going to run a WIlpon-majority owned public relations blog such as Mets Blog, proper grammar and spelling are paramount. They’re not optional. The blog is an extension of the team and Sports Net New York’s public relations efforts, not some guy writing in mom’s basement between class assignments. Mets fans have to deal with enough negativity, due to Wilpon bungling and the team’s bad performance the last few years.
