Since nothing is going on I will tell you about the Mets survey

Nothing at all happening out in Queens, and I haven’t had time to go through my closet to work on Not Mediagoon’s Mets caps, so I thought I’d tell you about the survey the Mets did this week.

It was a basic survey inquiring about what decisions go into your decision to buy a ticket or not.  Much of the version I saw was focused on going to games with your children.

As Mets surveys go this one was pretty uninteresting (often I get these and post them within minutes, this one I sat on for a few days.)

The most interesting of the slides, and “most interesting” being a relative term.

mets survey about tickets

And in other Mets news let me clear up some of the other things I am reading on the internet:

– no the Mets are not going to get into a bidding war over Carlos Beltran.  Two reasons…

a) he is Carlos Beltran

b) the Mets don’t get into bidding wars.

Also Jose Reyes is not coming back, the Mets are not making a big trade with the Rockies, and the Mets will not get Scott Boras’ client Choo in a hundred million dollar deal.  I swear that sometimes the Intermets watch a completely different franchise than I do.

  1. I have to admit — the last survey (before this one) irked me to no end. I understand the Mets are New York, but I don’t understand why they’d survey fans on other teams in the area, and simply leave out the Devils (of which I am a big fan) and the Islanders. Any idea why that happened? Do they really think no one cares about the Mets and/or the Devils/Islanders?

    1. its interesting where they rank – I guess the brooklyn thing will make the Islanders “cool” for a year.

But the list right now is Yankees, Mets, Giants, Jets, Knicks, Rangers….gap…..Nets?, “trendy college thing of the week”, Devils, Islanders.
