The Mets Police Twitter ’62 for 2013

Last year Sports Illustrated made a list of the “Twitter 100” you should follow, so I thought I would rip off the idea and make a list of my own in not much of a particular order.

People dug the list and talked about it so I thought I would do it again.

However, this year I struggled to get to 86.  I have taken several stabs at this list and keep getting nowhere close to 86.  Part of that is that some folks just don’t tweet as much as they did.

So, no 86 but I did get to 62 which is a Metsy kind of number.  Hopefully there are no doubles because my kids won’t stop talking to me (“Daddy, the hot designs commercial is on!) as I try to finish this off – and I probably miscounted.  Daddy Blogging is hard.

Some folks who were on last year’s list didn’t make it this year for a variety of reasons but most often that they aren’t on twitter as much.   In their place, some new faces.  And I bet I accidentally left someone off – but I did cook 6 waffles while doing this post.

In no particular order…

@mediagoon the second in command at Mets Police. If I don’t list him first he won’t cover me when I travel. Also likes wrestling.

@adamrubinespn the dude is on it. Every day. Can’t ignore and must respect.

@uniwatch doesn’t tweet much but it’s the feed of Supreme Commander Lukas so if you hate black uniforms follow the general.  And his #2 @philhecken does tweet back but not as much as I’d like.

  1. Honored to be on the most prestigious list I’ve ever been a part of!
I can’t help but point out the irony of being on a people-to-follow
list and yet not actually followed by @metspolice
