- It’s definitely time to play Flores 50 games in a row.
- It’s probably time for Wallyball.
- It might be time to DL David Wright or shut him down because something isn’t right.
“These are big games,” Collins said after the loss on Thursday. “If we are going to be in the hunt, we’ve gotta win these games.”
OK, but they’re not in the hunt. Now 115 games into the season the Mets are seven games under .500, so what would make anyone think they’re suddenly going to play winning baseball over the final two months of the season?
