Winning 10-12 more games is a loser’s mentality

I keep reading that the Mets leadership wants to win 10 to 12 more games. That’s nice. 79+12 is 91 wins. That would have even won you some divisions this year.

I say it’s a loser mentality.

It’s the mentality of being cheap.

It’s the mentality of wanting to hope everything breaks perfectly so that you just get in.

I say try to improve this team by twenty one games.  100 wins.  Not 91, 100.
