SNY wants you to know they had big Matt Harvey ratings!

Ron JIm

Congrats SNY on big ratings last night, and it was probably the most fun Mets game on TV since 2007.  I thought it was more entertaining than even Santana’s no-hitter.  People even got to hear Ronnie say what sure sounded like “friggin’.”

I am sure Mr. Boras will also be pleased to see his client can move both gate and TV ratings.  That’s 2019’s problem, for now we enjoy!

The broadcast scored a 4.32 household rating (322,000 TV households), the network’s highest telecast since the team’s July 5, 2012 walk-off win against the Phillies, and peaked at a 5.23 household rating (389,000 TV households) from 8:45-9pm.

The nine inning affair delivered 429,161 Total Viewers (322,000 TV households), SNY’s best mark since its June 23, 2010 tilt against the Detroit Tigers. On Tuesday night, SNY owned cable in Adults 25-54 earning a 2.67 in the demo, making it the most watched program in its timeslot.
