MLB and @neweracap you need to stop now (Japan Series Mets cap)

You broke my back with this. You need to stop. Not a single person on the planet was thinking “man I gotta get myself a Japan Series cap.” Enough.

Here’s what a Mets one would look like but not really since…well you have eyes…

Instead of spending $37 on that why not spend $35 on a ticket to the Queens Baseball Convention.  You can even walk away with an autograph from both Mookie Wilson and Wally Backman (included in your admission cost.)

MetsPolice.com freely admits to being a capitalistic blog here to sell you things and put eyeballs on our advertisers so that we can sit home and bitch about the Mets all day.  It’s a great life.

41 More Amazin’ Ideas For the Mets #13: Sun Maps

We are crowdsourcing ideas for the Mets.  The ideas can be big or they can be small. The Mets can use them or not.  Send your idea to [email protected]

Today we hear from Adam.

I saw several months ago in Uni Watch that (I think it was) KC has a chart that the ticket sellers have that show which seats are in shade and which are in sun at what point during the year.

Do you think the Mets have such a thing and that they would share it?

Do you think that such a thing could be crowd sourced – are their Mets fans that are that computer savvy?

Jason Fry rigs the Queens Baseball Convention ‘Meaningful Games in September’ panel

At this year’s Queens Baseball Convention I will be taking part in a friendly discussion/panel of “Meaningful Games In September: Good Enough?”

I will be arguing something along the lines of “F&$k no!” at which point I will look to the audience for support.

I’m up against Jason Fry from Faith and Fear In Flushing where those guys are known for their way with words.  Plus, Jason is actually an author where as I can barely do a blog post.

Now I learn that the moderator of this discussion will be Greg Prince.  Who is Greg Prince?  Well, here he is in a picture with Jason Fry!

Clearly they are buddies – and they work together on Faith & Fear.

This is totally absurd!

I hope you will come support me in this rigged discussion by attending the Queens Baseball Convention on January 10th.  Tickets are on sale at qbc15.com and over there in the sidebar, or keep scrolling down if you’re on your phone.

Who approves these moderators anyway????
