A Daily News article has a team official saying the Mets will not wear the Los Mets jerseys when they travel to Arizona.
Fans of Los Mets jerseys can look forward to August 13th and September 17th when the Mets will remind everyone that the English jerseys should have the word The on them.
I stand by my ground that I can’t stand the Los Mets jerseys. Â Why? Â They make no sense. Â It would be like wearing jerseys that say “The Mets.” Â The teams in the Mexican League have jerseys that say “Tigres” not “Los Tigres” so I’ll use that as my argument.
