So what do I think of Cespedes’ yellow compression sleeve?

I saw very little of last night’s game but I did see Cespedes’ compression sleeve.

As I checked my phone later in the evening I saw some folks were wondering what I thought of the day-glo sleeve.

I like it.

Now I don’t like it to the point where I want all Mets to go get one, but it doesn’t bother me.

The compression sleeves look like a nice way to work around the rules and bring some individuality to the player without it being too annoying.

That being said, I suspect Cespedes broke the system last night and I wouldn’t be surprised if MLB decides to make rules, similar to the undershirt rule, in which sleeves have to match the color of the uniform. When that happens I will complain about illegal compression sleeves. Until then, it’s fun!

Oh, and nobody can figure out how to wear first responder caps in games…perhaps first responder sleeves? (Might be against some sort of logo rule).
