Mets: First Half Is Over

The Mets are two games back from the Nats. That’s right two games back. It has been tradition that the Mets go into the All Star Break pretty hot and then after the break they cool off. I haven’t decided which way in think the team is going to go. Will they play above their line up when they play St. Louis this week? Or are they going to play like a mix and match Quad A farm team where they are close to winning game after game because of the pitching and lose the those games because they don’t have a solid line up and defense? Will Travis be back soon? I still think Wright isn’t coming back(my opinion- I am not pretending to even think I know how the spinal stenosis is going to hinder his career. Just a feeling I have.) ever.

I have been missing listening to the Mets games while at work this week(they help me kill some time). Can’t wait to see how this team comes out of the gate.

Mets Foo Fighters Concert Memo

Read this if you are going to the Foo Fighters shows on Wed/Thurs.

Whatever gate your ticket has printed on it, is the gate you have to enter in. General Admission/floor, can only head in via the Bullpen gate. Oh yeah $30 to park because it costs $8 more to run the lots when it’s not a Mets game(groan). And one more thing, they said it’s going to be crowded so expect long lines at the merch and concession stands.
