Sterling or Scully: Gary Cohen Trackwalls a Mets Walk-Off….and earlier said “we” oops.

This should have been a great call.

But there’s Gary Trackwalling again. To The Track, To The Wall is Cohenese for John Sterling’s It Is High, It Is Far. They are empty words that just come out of his mouth. Gary has had a lot of good calls this week, but for a walk-off, this is very sub-par one might call it worthy of working for the Yankees.

Verdict: Sterling

Also, and I wish I had a clip of this, Gary was reminding Keith of some game they had in Houston and said something like “remember we played…”  and then rephrased it.  I heard the WE.   Oooooooo homerism.

Is Gary a homer?   Would a neutral observer dance a call like this?   WE, Gare?  You’re the only one in the booth who hasn’t played for the Mets.   LOL Gare’s gonna be on Team Ehalt if he reads this.

Angels place TDKOALA Matt Harvey on the IL

The Angels have placed The Next Seaver  The Dark Knight  their beleaguered starter Matt Harvey on the IL with a n upper back strain.  That’s interesting because my source at the Angels, Matt Harvey, said Matt Harvey was fine.

Now, how could Matt have injured himself. Could have been on one of these plays?

Matt Harvey has a 7.50 ERA.  I hope his back is better soon so I may recap many more of his outings.  Go get yourself a good massage Matt.

Gil Must Go: The One True Ace Kooz returns and of course nobody scores for him

Come on guys.  Seriously?  Kooz finally returns, hands in a nice two run outing and you bums can’t score for him?

I don’t know why the hell Gil took him out after only 7 innings anyway.   This guy has gotta go.

Three losses in a row.  I hope you enjoyed .500 because it might be the year 2000 before this team touches .500 again.  And you know what tomorrow is right?  (Not so) Terrific Day.    Welcome to reality Gil.
