Has anyone seen a 2011 Mets pocket schedule?

As for as Mets Policing goes, this is the equivalent of jaywalking…but have the Mets printed pocket schedules yet?  Has anyone actually seen one?  I’m being told they haven’t.  (I implicitly trust my tipster).

Yes it’s 2011 and you can get schedules elsewhere – but they are kinda cool to have.

Anyone?

    1. yeah, that’s probably the thinking. I used to keep one (and often a Yankees as well) in my wallet for quick persual “when do the Mets play the Giants again?” or “Is there a Yankee game today? maybe i don’t want to drive through the Bronx”

but now I can look it up on my phone quickly anyway.

Probably will have some at the ticket windows Friday. I’ll probably grab one.

  1. They usually throw 1-2 in each single game ticket order they mail out (especially early in the year), but I didn’t get any with my tickets this time. Actually, they didn’t even include the usual cover letter/packing slip with the tickets. They just printed my address on a blank ticket and scotch taped it to the envelope window. Going green or going bankrupt? Let me add this: the Yankees and Rangers offer souvenir cups at their concession stands. The Mets (starting last year) and Islanders do not. I think the company you keep can speak volumes. Draw your own conclusions.

  2. They also didn’t print “Media Guides” which they used to sell in spring training.

They had cheesy peel off one pagers for spring training.

  3. check your neghiborhood bar.
i still have my 1973 manufacturers hanovor trust pocket schedule!

  4. I hope they have some pocket schedules at the ticket window – I do keep one in my wallet for reference during the season.

Also – “going green” is just pr-speak for cost-cutting at most businesses.
