HUGE mistake by SNY.
As reported in the Daily News, SNY has decided not to bring back fan-favorite Lee Mazzilli as their lead in-studio analyst. Apparently they want to “head in a new direction.”
Bob Ojeda appears to be in position to take over Mazzilli’s spot.
When I hear anyone associated with the Mets start talking about “heading in a new direction” I think of 3 things
- Letting Ray Knight go
- Signing Kevin McReynolds
- Trading Lenny and Roger
