Mets Blog says the Mets have announced that Seaver and Piazza will be there for the first pitch on Monday night.
I find it curious that the Mets waited so long to admit it, this has been known for several weeks. It would be nice if they could announce things not admit them.
The San Diego Padres also hope to be there for Opening Night if they get their nap in. I hate them.
