The weekly recap of the most popular articles on Mets Police and some of the articles that deserved better.
As we gear up for the Subway Series, here’s a Mets fans guide to Yankee Stadium (part one). Tomorrow we’ll explore some of the foods, and later in the week we’ll have some info about Scoreboard Tara.
Tomorrow we’ll tell you how you can fight black uniforms AND cancer, thanks to one of the Mets Police readers. (no link since I haven’t written it yet.)
Tops this past week:
People think I’m an idiot, but I’m less stressed about Reyes being out than the injuries to Pagan and Cora.
Are the Shea Stadium markers misplaced? Deep down I don’t believe it but deep down I wouldn’t be shocked.
All Mets fans under 30 who can’t believe the amount of injuries should study up on the 1987 Mets – you know the team that didn’t repeat? It wasn’t because they sucked.
Someone must have linked to the I’m Calling It Shea T-Shirts.
Always popular: Inside the Acela Club, Inside the Caesar’s Club and the overall collection of Citi Field pics including obstructed views.
The Mets recently issued a uniform survey which was sent to fans.
You may want to prepare yourself for obstructed views at Yankee Stadium too.
It’s a nice sunny afternoon on the deck, Howie’s on the radio, the Mets are up 5-0 so I’m going to put the laptop away and finish off Torre’s book and chip away some more at The Echoing Green (a NY baseball Giants book). See y’all tomorrow.
