The Mets take a beating enough without a uniform with “Queens” written in large letters across their chest. It would be a disaster similar to when the Islanders came out with the fisherman logos.
That said, anything is better than the current black ones. Bring back the 86′ uni’s and everyone will be happy. Lets honor the METS, not the dodgers or Giants.

I LOVE the idea of a Mr. Met alternate logo. I mean, how can you NOT love anything that guy is on?
Yeah, I have been thinking about that one lately. I think a Mr. Met Sunday cap (blue and only at home) would be fun.

I can't believe in all this uniform discussion, no one's brought up "the dot." I'm more than willing to concede a few more seasons of the black jerseys in exchange for getting rid of that orange button on the blue cap.
