Wilpon Wear And Other Awful New York Mets Hats

Last week I commented on the Los Mets jerseys and some people said that if the Mets showed up in Irish attire I would support it.

I assure you that if the Mets ever take the field in these I will lose my mind.  

Also, note to New Era, no self-respecting Irishman would wear this either.  A green but otherwise standard design cap maybe, and not while actually playing, but not this.

Note to the fellas – green Met hats don’t attract chicks.   I have a friend who did extensive research.

I’m thinking of buying this for Fred Wilpon.  It’s a Brooklyn hat in case you’re thinking maybe it is soemthng else.  I think I found it at Fitted Hawaii but I’m not sure.

I’m convinced everyone on the internet is 24 and has no sense of Mets history because the Mets don’t educate.   So, old guys take your hands off the mouse.  Young guys – who is this and why is Fitted Hawaii selling it?

This actually looks better than the blue/black hybrid.  Replace the Ford Pinto blue with Mets blue..and maybe the solution is not having the orange shadow and just have white.

Or you could just wear blue and orange.

If SNY decides to televise games in black and white, this might look good.

Well, at least it’s orange.   Might look good on a golf course in Port St. Lucie
