A rare appearance for The Nets Police!
Wow I missed this one. The News says $350 gets you tickets to ten games, plus 5 reversible jerseys. That sounds cool.
The jerseys are Nets on one side…and wait for it….someone from the opposing team on the other side. Yep, Nets on one side and say LeBron James Cavs on the other.
The Nets CEO says:
“But our goal is to see what we can do to fill as many of those seats (as possible) every night. Would I love them to all be Nets fans? Absolutely. But if some of them happen to be fans of other players, other teams – that’s okay.”
Can you imagine if…dare I say it…the Mets announced something like Albert Pujols t-shirt night? We get mad enough when they honor a team that has been dead for 50 years and one of the most historic figures in the game. Fortunately this has nothing to do with the Mets.
As for the Nets, you keep on planning that trip to Brooklyn. I’ll take the Second Avenue Subway there. Both projects should be completed around the same time.
