Did you ever wonder what happens if you complain about obstructed views?
One reader tells me he got this back:
Dear Mr xxxx,
Thank you for your email. We appreciate you taking the time to bring your concerns to our attention. Our goal at the Mets is to consistently create exceptional experiences for all our guests here at Citi Field.
We apologize that your experience was not what you had envisioned. Your concerns will be directed to the appropriate departments so the problem may be addressed immediately.
Thank you again for making us aware of your concerns and assisting us in creating a world-class experience for all of our guests.
Best wishes.
Sincerely,
NY Mets Customer Relations Department
Fellas…this is the experience he had not envisioned. You can’t say he’s wrong, can you?
The the team is having a disaster. You should be calling this guy up and asking him if there is anything you can do to make him happy. Throw him two tickets in a club. The evangelizing he would have done about how cool the Mets are would have been worth it.
Instead this season plan holder gets this generic email. Do you think he feels wanted?
My guess (and it is just a guess) is that some lower level person fielded the email, and now that I’ve posted this the policy will change. It will just take one high level boss seeing this and the Mets Police have done their job for the day.
Be honorable Metsies, be honorable.
