These are pretty cool events:
The third AMAZIN’ TUESDAY is coming to the Two Boots Tavern on the
Lower East Side this Tuesday night (9/15) at 7. It’s another evening
devoted to celebrating all things Met except, perhaps, being
eliminated with three weeks to go.
Presenting at this event, hosted by Greg Prince of Faith and Fear in
Flushing and Jon Springer of Mets By The Numbers, will be Jeff
Pearlman, author of The Bad Guys Won and John Coppinger, creator of
Metstradamus. Admission is free, as is your first beer if you bring a
Mets baseball card. Two Boots is one of the Met-friendliest venues in
town. The game against the Braves will be on; viewing optional.
