You may have thought we were done with obstructed views but we’re not and we won’t be until we’ve documented every single one in the new building.
We haven’t had as many lately not because they don’t exist but because fewer people are going to games (I know I’m not, I gave away last night’s “Saturday tickets” and by the way thanks for that David Howard…I hope you enjoy my $22, it’s going to cost you $1200 in 2010). No fans = no pictures. Maybe next year I will ask folks to send in pics of completely empty sections….and we still have time for that this year.
Carlos sent this one over, and it’s a little tricky because of the shadows. I even gave the Mets the benefit of the doubt and asked Carlos what was obstructed. Take it away Carlos…
You can’t see anything that happens behind the plate The seat is also on the aisle so anyone walking around is in the way. Lots of neck craning to the left from this seat. The large shadow that takes up 1/3 of the picture on the right is an overhang.
If you’re a Mets Police newbie why don’t you set aside half an hour and check out:
This Obstructed View video
Obstructions in Section 504
Maybe these in Section 537
Or Section 501
Spend money and be obstructed in section 105
Or 533
Or 527
Or 538
Or 525
or another video
or 521
even Jeff Wilpon’s box is obstructed
And if you aren’t angry by now – check out what David Howard had to say about it. We’re wrong, the views are fine.
If you bought one of those 2009 Yankees playoff sweatshirts you may wanna check out these Yankee Stadium Obstructed Views, or these, or these.
If you have stadium pics to share please send them over to [email protected] Being honest just about anything is entertaining. It’s all in the clever writing.

What’s awesome about David Howard’s “Saturday” hosing of the fans is I’m actually writing this on Wednesday night and I’m not even watching the game for which I bought tickets.
