Maybe some day the Jaguars will move to Flushing (they are really struggling to fill their stadium) and play in a configuration like this:

Looks to me like Citi would be awful for football. Those $11 Pepsi Porch seats might be the best bet when you factor in height and price.
I love alternative football leagues (the USFL would still be playing if the modern ESPN had been around then) but I’m sensing the Sentinels (is that the name of our team?) playing in front of 2500 in their only appearance ever in New York.

those homerun apple seats in CF might be good for endzone seating. i didn't think they home plate area was wide enough for football where the stands pinch in on the field. corner of the end zone falling into the dugout could be interesting too.
i'd love one of your readers (or you) to be there to critique it from a personal experience.
I like this. It is a good test of curse of CitiField. If the Sentinels get injured at an alarming rate we know something is up.
Now can someone explain to me why the NY market is considered a "major market currently underserved by professional football" according to the UFL website.
Also, any word if Shane Falco will be QBing for the Sentinels?
I love the Replcements reference. Thats the first thing I thought of when I heard the name. Also, those $11 seats they advertise for- non existant. Not on stubhub, not on ebay, not even on the 507TIXX website. Nice try though, UFL.
