Since the talk of the week seems to be about uniforms…
DyHrdMET is one of the regulars around here…and following the suggestion from Metsblog that everyone where blue to games for now on…he sent over this pic and this note:
I’m not even sure how to describe it (I don’t know those technical terms), but it’s long button down and has holes to breath, and I can’t recall the Mets ever wearing this for BP or Spring Training or games. No piping of any type. Real solid (Mets) blue with the Orange/white script Mets logo and a sleeve patch with the Mets circular logo (no black anywhere except the tag). It looks better than any new ideas I’ve seen for new/alternate/different jerseys.
What does everyone think? What if Charlie Samuels dressed the Mets in these as opposed to the horrible black uniforms?
