It’s Sentinels Season At Citi Field

The UFL will be here soon to little acclaim but since they will play (one game) at Citi we should at least pay a little attention, right?

A Sentinel is defined as “one who stands guard”, and the logo for the New York franchise is inspired by the presence of the mythical and real heroes which stand guard to protect the City of New York. The shield represents strength and stability, and the heroic angels reference the imposing scale of its landscape, aspiring upward as a tribute to the overall spirit of New Yorkers.

The UFL’s first game on October 8th will be broadcast on VERSUS at 9:00 pm ET. On Saturday, October 10th, the Florida Tuskers will host the New York Sentinels at the Citrus Bowl. This game will be broadcast on HDNet at 7:00 pm ET. Tickets are still available for both games and can be purchased by calling 877.UFL.2009 or visiting www.ufl-football.com.
