Hmmm….this is a tough one to defend. However I own one and have worn it in public. There really is no reason for a Mets hat to be green….and trust me you won’t pick up girls in it. It’s not the worst thing to wear to Lobsterfest, and being Irish is a good thing.
Mets Police recommendation: Buy it if you’re Irish and tell everyone to screw off.
