OK, by this point just about anyone who is here knows about my letter to Fred Wilpon from last week and the subsequent call I received back from Craig Marino of the Mets. In both the letter and in the conversation with Craig I made it very very clear that I was not going to be renewing my ticket plan in 2010. I even sent back my renewal form with a CANCEL written on it.
So about 5:30 today I get a call from…..the Mets ticket office reminding me that my payment to renew my ticket plan was due and asking me if there was anyway they could help with the payments if that was needed.
I very politely told the guy that I had written a letter to basically all his bosses letting them know that I was not renewing, and had spoken at length with Craig Marino about it. And had posted said letter and response on MetsPolice.com
“So, you want me to cancel your renewal then?”
Sigh
Sometimes all I can do is shake my head and laugh.
