Good morning.

Have you seen this pathetic poll The Mets Police are doing in a sorry attempt to grab a sponsor?  Well, it is Saturday so you know what that means – I’m off to an Unnamed Store to get my iced coffee.  Maybe it’s a donut chain with a D in it, or maybe somewhere with some arches.   (Pathetic.)

I’m heading out to the game today with Beloved Daughter and her black Mets jersey.  Not sure what I’m gonna rock yet.

NEXT Sunday (the one eight days from now) I’m going to grab the other clowns (Media Goon, Dan and Osh41) and do another one of those audio things….you can listen to episode 1 on the right side of the main Mets Police page, even though much of it is dated now.  Nope, we didn’t talk about uniforms.

Starting Monday Mets Police will be celebrating 70’s week with a whole bunch of 1970’s Mets related material.

And while I go to a place that sells iced coffee…out there in America someone is wearing this.  (Thanks to @metsflu on twitter for the hookup.  Do I have to say “on twitter” or do you guys know what it means when I write @somebody at this point.  I mean you’re cruising RSS feeds and blogs, you know what @mazzilli is right?  Speaking of which, I wonder if Lee tweets.  Doubt it.  Ok coffee time…)

Wow bonus negative points for all sorts of font issues.  Now Morg(an) 8 seems like he might be a cool dude.  Or a fan of ESPN.

@metsflu tells me he took the picture because it was interesting and then realized I could use it.  That means that this whole thing where we take pictures of the backs of strangers is catching on.

Be careful what you wear today.  You show up in a Sisk jersey and you’ll be on here tomorrow.  The Mets Police are everywhere.
