Just in case you have yet to hear form the many other sources out there, the Mets have placed Francisco Rodriguez on the restricted list for 2 days. Fred Wilpon issued a statement saying:
“Ownership and the organization are very disappointed in Francisco’s inappropriate behavior, and we take the matter very seriously.â€
This means that K-Rod will not be eligible to play today or tomorrow, and will be docked salary for those days – about $126,000
Wilpon has yet to address the media directly and as far as I can see Minaya has still had no official comment.
