There’s a tiny NY on the logo!
You don’t see that any more.
I don’t know what it means but….interesting!

What jacket is it? Is it a replica of one worn when they still used the tiny NY?
Probably just a retro jacket. The Wilpon’s hate dthe little ny because it just “didn’t fit”. I guess they’re right considering that it’s been in the logo since 1962
It is just a crummy little NY that is hard to duplicate and doesn’t even look like the Mets NY logo…but I demand it back. You don’t mess with an original classic…do you fix the Mona Lisa’s smile too?
It’s also got the old-school fat script with the M that’s not falling into the rest of the letters.
i was looking at the 1973 world series high lite film.
i noticed a logo patch on the wool and wind breaker jackets it did not say mets.
even when i freeze frame the picture i still can’t tell.
some one out there help me!!
