Come on Mets, this is a good look. This is from a 2000 Sports Illustrated we’ll dive into in a few weeks.

You know, I like the blue uniforms better than the black ones… but it still seems wrong to see Bobby Valentine in anything other than traditional Mets black. 🙂
Hilarious Paul. Not.
I agree with you Paul. Same could be said of Mike Piazza. 🙂
I like that blue uniform also!…I also like Bobby Valentine. I kind of wish we got him for our Manager this year! He is also form my hometown!
You know, it has black drop shadow?…
Terence this is like fighting a war on two fronts. Gotta take out the black unis first. One battle at a time.
I zoomed in on that pic in photoshop. I don’t see any drop shadows on that pic
Shannon & ‘Goon,
Might be my mistake. I saw “2000 SI article” but looking at the caption is says 1996 and they didn’t have BFBS yet. I believe. in 2000, they had a Blue (with drop shadow)BP set and a Black BP set…
Which I believe is from ’99, because of NNOB. Not sure if they still used it in 2000, but I’m almost sure they did whey they wore pins of snow whites at home…
